Our partner Sondor Willy Hungerbühler AG successfully scanned colored Gasparcolor soundtracks on their specialized scanner Resonances. The scanning is part of a research project by Andrea Krämer under the supervision of Prof. Martin Koerber, Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft in Berlin in collaboration with ARRI. Prof. Bernard Besserer of the University of La Rochelle supervised the scanning of several original nitrate prints of the Stiftung Deutsche Kinemathek. The soundtracks were pink/red and blue/green respectively.
